I wouldn't put all your investments into litecoin all at once. It is a crapshoot right now because no one can tell you what is going to happen after August 1st. Now what you can do is prepare for it. You may put a little on LTC just for your FOMO (fear of missing out) and slowly accumulate. After August 1, you can see the market sentiment and adjust your strategy afterwards.

If the cryptocurrencies goes down significantly, you may want to buy more (careful not to catch a falling knife and who knows how low it can go).

If it goes higher, then you should accumulate as well.

No one knows what will happen. We are speculating with our positions. There's a lot of FUD and there is good reason. It will be an interesting time. I have no doubt that the future will hold higher prices.
