I think your right to say some sideways action would be healthy, it is likely that could happen especially since BTC hasn't exactly decided what it is doing.

If you look at the weekly LTC chart we can see the MACD has not started to level out yet so yeah I totally agree with your thoughts, beaking that down trend with some sideways action is definetly what LTC needs. Also some stability in price is also great for people who use LTC for regular payments payments.
