If you are trading, you've probably noticed Litecoin's rally this morning. Price went up from $37 to $45 with $400 million injection to Litecoin's market cap.

I didn't noticed any huge news about Litecoin, but i think it's again Chinese are playing some dirty games. They've just came in with $200 million for Litecoin.

I've bought some Litecoin couple weeks ago near $30, so it's good news for me.

I believe Segwit2x code was implemented today. I got a notification about it and the price started jumping!

Litecoin blockchain activated Segwit on May 10 (two month ago) so it's not that. I see another reason here - Bitcoin struggles with transaction times, since the block size is only 1 Mb and not all the transactions can be fit into the block. This is the reason why transaction fee sometimes reaches as high as 10%. For the next 3 months (until Bitcoin activates SegWit2x) - Litecoin will be the fastest and the cheapest cryptocurrency to transfer - as it was the first one to implement Segwit, tested it and approved its benefits and lightning speed. After those 3 months the crown may be passed to Bitcoin, so the future of Litecoin will be uncertain.

Thanks for sharing . But Segwit2x is beta and came already on Friday, also it's for BTC. Don't think that it's related.
