Gotta love Sir Terry. I lean towards Tiffany Aching and DEATH as favorites, though I find limiting myself to any one series of his ro be damndably difficult. Cheers!

That's a lot of books! Would you believe I've never read anything from Terry Pratchett yet? I should really start sometime...

He was very prolific! Plus they are easy reads. I hope you find time to try one. You may get hooked ;)

I read EVERYTHING he wrote, even the child books. and I had to read most of those books in English, cos just a few of them there were translated in italian. I think my favorite is Small gods (Granny Weatherwax will forgive me)

Cool. I expect he's been translated into many languages. I do read some books that were originally in other languages, e.g. Umberto Eco who also died recently. You have to rely on a good translation and I imagine that's not an easy task. Combining humour and fantasy must make it harder.

I must say that I appreciated much more the original books, becouse of the many puns Pratchett used, which are hard to translate effectively.

I used to read Asterix comics when I was a kid. I know the French version had its own puns that couldn't be easily translated. I still enjoyed them a lot

me too. :)
