First signs of Spring at Lithuanian Independence Day

in lithuania •  6 years ago

Ausra and I just went for a walk in the woods for the first time this winter. The nature seems to be awakening after a long winter sleep. Later in the evening I will go to the Independence Day concert where a few of my compositions will be performed by Vilnius Symphonic Orchestra Of Non-Professionals.

I loved to see many people in the evening gathering to listeng to the concert.

What a very beautiful city. The snow is heavy I see the streets full of snow. And the electricity poles have increased the scene beautifully

Behind the electricity poles runs Neris River which is the second longest in Lithuania.

Frankly, the pictures are mildly amazing. I liked the street in the second picture very nice

Yes, the snow melting in the gardens looks very nice. This area was first built decades ago during the Soviet times as a community garden where people could plant their vegetables nd grow some fruits. But now people actually build nnormal houses and live here. The only remnant from the Soviet times is narrow streets when most people didn't have a car.
