So back in January of 2017 my husband and I did a thing. We sold our home and about 90% of all of our belongings and bought a boat and now live on said boat. Before buying our 34' Marine Trader 1978 diesel trawler, we had no prior boating experience, we just knew we wanted to live a more minimalist lifestyle with less bills and less stress. We did take some boating classes prior to buying the boat and we're so thankful we did. They obviously taught us something because we purchased the boat in Louisiana and cruised it all the way back to Kemah, Texas AND we made it back in one piece :).
This blog will follow our adventures. Currently we're staying at a nice Marina here on Clear Lake and we're fixing up the boat now so that in January of 2019 we can cruise off to the Florida Keys (our second major trip in the boat)!
