Lot's of online content creators make videos and some make live content, but should they do both?

We all know at least one video content site. Whether it's DTube, YouTube, Netflix, or anything else. These platforms all support video making. They distribute videos in different ways, but the concept is the same. YouTube and DTube support engagement with the use of comments, while Netflix supports mostly high quality and copyrighted shows.

When it comes to live content, there is mainly YouTube and Twitch. These platforms support live content, where the person or thing is live and people can engage with the host or channel live. These platforms also support live donations that can have messages attached to them.

As you all can see, there is two main types of video content for the internet, but what I don't see is a lot of people utilizing both.

Let's take art creators for example. They can make live drawings of things, and let the audience help guide them with what they are drawing. They can then take that creation and turn it into a cartoon or animation as a video. This takes the live engagement from the livestream and takes it to a whole new level. The audience helped with the creation of this new world.

Gaming is really good for using both of these. Let's says someone makes a tutorial for a video game, like using a new weapon. If someone wants to see more of that weapon, they can ask the streamer to use it. This takes the teaching part of video creation to a whole new level.

I make both video and live content. I really like using my video content to build my audience, and my live content to know them better. Today while livestreaming, I learned that one of my subscribers on YouTube is a Lord of the Rings fan. We then talked for a little bit about the universe of Lord of the Rings, the video games, and what we would like to see in those video games. I put my audience member in the spotlight and helped them run the show for a little bit.

I hope that you have learned a little bit about combining live and video content. One important thing I want to share is that if you swap video content with written content, it works pretty much the same way.
