We headed on a 1-hour ferry ride down the river from Saigon to check out the nearest beach from the city - Vung Tau beach for a weekend trip (actually it was Monday thru Thursday, but when you're a digital nomad you decide your own weekends ^^). We feast on the best seafood in the world, extremely cheap seafood by the way, seafood on the beach. And more seafood. This is the Vietnam you want to see. More Vietnam beach travel coming soon!
The bar we were at is called "Vung Tau The Lights", where we met some Engligh teacher friends named Tonya and Erwin, who invited me to stay an extra night to get the 'proper' Vungtau tour. Thanks guys! We checked out the EPIC view on top of the world at the big Jesus on the mountain, and eat at the best seafood restaurant in Vung Tau called Ganh Hao. Check it out!
