Lockdown Blues?

Today has been a very hot day here, we were expecting rain but it seems no rain is heading this way for now, so we just have to stand this heat, you know the thermometer says 33 degrees C (91.4 Fahrenheit) but it feels at least in the low forties, and that sun is really hot when it hits you. Sometimes I go out and I immediately get a headache, and I am used to this. Then you go someplace with air conditioning and feel cool but when you go back out it feels even hotter than before. Probably this is my brain working.

We do have a lot more of traffic in the city, taxis and buses are now working and I see more private cars around, probably people who need to go out and look for ways to make money. Money is the scarcest commodity around here right now, I really know that some people have zero income and zero savings it really beats me how they survive, life is difficult for all right now but this set of people have it much harder.

On the other hand I do go to the waterfront and I see the alcoholics still get money for their booze and around there are some drug distributors and they have a booming business, so maybe things are not as bad as they should be. Because frankly I don't think these guys have savings, they take their alcohol or drugs on a money in hand money spent system.

What I do see is that most people are on edge, they are not out for joking. At the waterfront I have seen a lot of quarrels very close to fights, when this happens of course I leave, I don't want to be included in one of these fights or worse, have to be a witness after something happens. Still I enjoy going there I can find out about most of what has happened or is happening, there is a great grapevine there.

Well this is all I am writing today, with the Diary game on vacation it is hard for me to come up with something to write, so I am just putting this out to not get too rusty.
