Excerpt
A good start to any day means you have a strong urge in your subconscious to turn the global disadvantage in your favour. All good starts begin with an intention, and that intention was showing on the first day itself. But, here goes nothing, we are humans and especially men..who have these inherent characteristics (bordering on the genetic), to be lazy and seek a bed to lie down on!
However, all said and done, my overall demeanor right now is 100% on the positive side. I have had moments – as long as a couple of hours sometimes – of laziness, but hey…that’s a given when you are at home. The pressures of performance as a husband, father, son and as the head of a business vertical – is high!
So here is how the day somewhat went by since morning.
Personal front
- I happened to be awakened early morning at around 4/430 am, but I purposefully did not get up…it was a long day ahead and I did not want to jeopardize it…so I tossed and turned and forced myself to go back to sleep.
- Albeit..the silent prayer of thanks to the almighty for waking me up at what people generally call a Brahma-muhurta (ब्रह्म मुहूर्त).
- When I finally woke up, the first thing that crossed my mind again was a prayer of gratitude for yet another day for me and my family being safe and sound.
- The home agenda – well I normally do not set, for obvious reasons – ahem – but the necessary has to be done –
- Getting the kids to get up, making sure they are well-rested since yesterday before I force it upon them that another day has up and they have to meet their current day’s goal.
- Daughter is up for online classes and son has also got some lock-down homework from school too. So their agenda is set.
- Son is an avid Minecraft gamer…so his personal agenda is set too.
- Yet again, there is a necessary time spent in the kitchen helping set the breakfast plates (just FYI – breakfast not made by me)!
