icon or symbol
The icon or a brand symbol is basically a creative design that represents a brand. The icon or symbol is basically made
up of shapes that forms the brand symbol or icon.
Wordmark logo
This type of logo is a bit similar to the lettermark logo design style but there’s a difference between the two…
The wordmark logo is a logo design that is created based on the full name of the company or brand with uniqueness in the font style. Example is the coca cola logo.
Lettermark logo
Just like the wordmark logo, the lettermark is the initials of the company or brand… or simply put, the initials or short version of the wordmark logo. Example is the HP logo.
Combination mark logo
The combination mark logo is just like the name, a combination of two types of logo. This logo style is mainly the combination of icon or symbol and lettermark or wordmark. This type of logo design is also great because it can be easily memorable. Example is that adidas logo.
Mascot
A mascot logo style is basically a type of logo that uses a particular image (human, animal or any other reallife image) and text to represent a company or a brand. It is similar to the combination mark but it uses a image (mostly human or animal image). Example is kfc logo.
