Loki And SHIELD MENTAL ASYLUM HIGH SCHOOL

Loki dragged his feel in clear protest, but Thor was insistent. He did not understand why it was he who must endure this torture, for surly, this was merely another form of wretchedness that Odin had cooked up. Although, to be honest, Loki had been trying to press Odin's buttons. To see just how much he needed to make him break. He did not, however, count on this. He was to be sentenced to a...a...a Boarding School. Although Frigga had assured him that it was only until Odin calmed his temper, and things got a chance to settle down, Loki was not so sure. After all, he was the adopted child, the unwanted second, the shady one to Thor's brilliant Light, so why, in the name of all things holy, would Odin want him home? Oh, that is right, he never did. The man was a Grade A asshole. And, for Loki's part, he was rather excited to be rid of the man, perhaps no so excited that he was being sent to a boarding school, but he was excited to be rid of Odin's constant presence. The one that terrified him to almost no end!
But today he was gone. Although, perhaps not in the best way, he was ridding himself of Odin, and Thor's tom foolery all at once.

Loki knew that he was in major trouble if he happened to survive the whole scheme. But he was clever. Oh, yes, and in all honesty, his Suicide should have worked, he should have died peacefully, without a hitch. He counted everything, had planned everything just right. What he had not planned on was a passersby seeing him, and calling the ambulance. When he had woken in that hospital room, he was distraught, and with good reason. Who wants to live with their abusive adopted father, oblivious and careless adoptive brother, and be taken advantage of at every chance given? Nobody. The only one Loki had truly cared for in his death was his mother, Frigga. And, although she was not his biological mother, she was more like family than the rest of the group of Odinson's. He had not intended to survive. Unfortunately, Odin then decided this was simply another scheme to get attention, and started screaming at him in front of everyone. Needless to say, he was escorted out, and Loki. Well, he was doomed to be going to this pathetic boarding school.
Loki was already incredibly smart. He could have graduated years ago, really, if Odin had allowed it. Apparently this school, or rehabilitation facility, or prison cell, whatever you would call it, were extremely selective. The fact that Odin was well regarded in Norway, England, Sweden, and the Americas, and the fact that he was rich, was the only reason Loki had gotten into this school in the first place.
Loki could see the ideal in Odin's mind for this school though. It was in a secluded section of England, it was relatively small in people numbers, they had very high ratings, and success rates, and they turned out many famous people. Such as Howard Stark, and President Bush, and others far too numerous to number. Most were geniuses, others seemingly regular people. Plus their Psych ward was supposedly top of the market. Even though Loki had angered Odin, Odin would never risk being given bad press by sending Loki to some halfway house. He would be ruined if that got into the papers.
