Here it is... Le Intro

in london •  8 years ago  (edited)
Left-adjusted graffitty. Spray of a angry looking frog face in green, with a respiratoring mask. Tangerine eyes are not covered by the mask but dotted by one small point at the inner edge of the dark, round pupils. The white color is just running down in lines from the dots. He looks pissed off by this. Two black tools are crossed at the left, beside the frog. A screw driver and a jaw spanner.

Welcome to Steemit @manicpingu.

Thank you for following a frog. Maybe this is good for you because I can help you to learn Steemit. If you lost friends of the reason you cannot further play the weekend king, don't worry. You've had no friends because a friend is at your side, when you are in trouble. The proper tag for an introduction is #introduceyourself. Yes! How to know this? As you see, even to start in Steemit is difficult. But you can write your real introduction later on as well. Maybe you will be in a better mood then. Stemians love to read positive writings. Yes, sometimes it is boring for me as well…

Steemit is in it's Beta stadium. A lot of miracles seem to provoke you. What you have to know, now? You will earn STEEM if you

  • produce unique content (authoring),
  • write comments (interaction) and
  • garner followers.
    Don' t forget to resteem
Picture of the sign for resteem. It's a double kinked arrow, localized in the right part of any articles footer.
if you want to show your followers which content you like very much.

Vote Rate and Vote Power

The number of your recent votes is shown here. Just put in your avatar's name in the upper left field and wait until the red countdown in the upper right is ready. But you must not know how much voices there are left. You should always know the rate of your vote power. Is it above 90%, VOTE! Look here! Do you see the rate of your voting power? Oh and have a look to the other parameters to check in this application.

One time you may ask yourself, how much STEEM will I give with one vote? Just look it up here. More voting power means higher awards for voting! You should get voting power to become a demanded follower. You get voting power, if you raise your Steem Power (wallet).

More Help

If you need help, please feel free to ask (comment section or Steemit.Chat). Steemians always helping each other. Before you ask it's better to look up in the Steemit Help Net. And visit the official Steemit Welcome Page as well, where you will find all informations and a lot of links around Steemit.

Use this Steemit FAQ as well. It is a very helpful collection. Steemit development is in Beta stage. Some things may seem to be strange. Just ask!

Editors

For the Steemit editors it is better to use the Markdown Styling Guide. It is an important source when you want to work in an editor without any icons. Below of every editors frame (comments and postings) you will get the Preview of your work.
If you like, use Steem Writer for editing. It's created by @Unipsycho. For me the Markdown Editor is good.

Including Images and movie clips in your post works perfectly. You can do it in several ways, as described in the image help.

For sophisticated alignments read my article about alignment in the editor. There are bugs in the editor and you should know about.

Questions like

  • How do you Steem?
  • Where does STEEM come from?
  • How would you describe Steemit to a friend?

are very well answered by @eroche, too.

I'm sorry, I have to treat you with one more advice. But it is a important one, too. You should follow @steemitblog. It is the official voice of The Steemit Team.

Thank you for reading.

Happy steemin, @manicpingu.
