THE CITY

I walk along the red brick street
of the empire state of ancient city
‘Financial capital’ of the new name
I wonder of ability of men and machines
Upper and underground of this city
I wonder in the peoples’ profusion of possessions
Unmatched of all time: past, present and imminent
But my eyes fathom out the immense contrast
In the fabulous Ferrari driven glittering street
Each and every face, I see in the crowd
I see anger, anxiety and distress
Fear and terror in every face
Child, adult, men and women
Have tears and toils in every tales
In the jewelled and glittered streets
Crowds of human creates unheard hearse
No touch, no feelings and no heart
I only see humanoid robotic machines
Always hastily walking in the streets
Of this great, glorious, historic city.
