Holy crap! That is an absolute stunner. Good luck!

thank you :)

No wonder you've been waiting to post this ;)

hehehe I have more pictures of Northen lights from Finland :) I was spending sleepless nights outside in the forest.

This is such a wonderful shot, Bravo ! I want to try star trails too, just need to find the right spot :)

Thank you a lot! Right spot is the key. There should be no light pollution.

I know ! Nowadays its so hard to find such a spot that is nearby ;/ Which software you used for stacking ?

I know it's a way to do it in Photoshop. But I am too lazy and did it with Startrails application. I guess this software is for free. Not sure if it's compatible with Mac, but for sure with PC.

Nice thanks !

I am so sorry that we had no talk together at the meetup, I am looking forward to the next meeting with you!

no worries! I am planning to come next time! it was nice to meet u. also I am interested in what u are doing :) as I had shamans ancestors.

I was not open to you, so I missed to speak with you in russian, as you offered me a talk in English :)
After a look to your photo I got it now, I may tell you something next time about yourself, do not worry it is not bad at all.
Poka!

nice! let's meet next time :) will be cool to hear more about your shaman practices.

And I thought this is only one picture but exposed like for half an hour :D
so when do you shoot it u set tripod and do around 150 of 15s photos one right after another?

On open aperture with an exposure time of 15 seconds, I took 168 pictures and emerged them into one.

Of course, there is an option to make it with 2 hours exposure. But it is not possible with my camera, and I guess probability to make a mistake is much bigger then.

Tripod is must have for stars photography.
