Last April i visited the Traunfall for some waterfall phtography together with Stefan. the wter falls about 12 meters from the top to the ground of the river, and the width of the waterfall is about 200 meters. So it is quite a big waterfall here in Upper Austria. Of course there are biggerones elsewhere but this one can be reached within an hour from my homeplace. Most of the pathes around the waterfall are secured but if you want to take some pictures from different more interesting angles you need to climb a bit. Therefore you have to be very careful because it is very wet and slippery all around the waterfall.
Nice small waterfall. Picture: Florian Glechner.

At the Traunfall there is not only this big waterfall but also a lot of very small ones that look pretty nice when taking a closer look to them. The Details of the moos with the water running through it are always very magical for me. I really like longexposure photography with moving water very much. It always seems special and magical because you can't see it in this way with the human eye in the nature.
But also short exposure shots of the water that show the real power that is behind such a huge amount of water is pretty interesting for me. So when i visit a waterfall i always do some shots with pretty short exposure time so you can see the power of the water. What's your favorite do you like to see the power of the water or is a picture where the water is really smooth like in the first 2 pictures your favorite? Tell me in the comments!
