Chicago Skyline: Blue vs Orange

I took this shot from Adler Planetarium located at the end of a peninsula. I honestly thought my fingers were going to come off because it was so windy and cold, but it was totally worth it. Taken on MLK day, and I noticed they had the building lights displaying MLK, which was pretty cool. Overall I really liked how the photo split the blue and orange almost down the middle, because of that lamppost.

2 color mixed look so beautiful....why there are 2 color?? any occasion??

No special occasion I believe, it was always blue, but the lamp post to the left there made the left side all orange

Good shot indeed haha

Great pic! that spot is has one of the best views in the city. I was there that night- driving down Lake Shore Drive heading home. That building will often display a word about what is going on that day. Right now a lot of the buildings switched their colors from blue to red in celebration of Valentines day.

Oh that's cool that Chicago does that, I made a post about this earlier, but they're switching all of their streetlights to LED too, will they have hue control with the lights there as well?

Good question.
