Long Exposure - Milky Way @ Nida, Lithuania

On my holidays we went to the coast of Lithuania, to this lovely little town of Nida.
It is known for it's sand dunes and beautiful quiet beaches - however I never expected to see so many stars there at night - the place was very remote however, but I was still amazed and was able to see the Milky Way with a naked eye. Just amazing. I quickly ran back to my hotel and got my tripod/camera and spend the rest of the night at the end of this long stone bridge, taking a photo after a photo after a photo...

Hope you'll enjoy as much as I did :)

Nice shot. Been there so many times

Thank you! Yes - we are going back there this year! This time for a longer time too to soak in the place and have sand in every place possible after we are done! :D
