Green River

Driving back along highway 4 between Ucluelet/Tofino and Port Alberni you can pull off and check out this amazing winding river that parallels the highway.

The Tayler River in the winter rages with water and is a perfect pit stop for images. There are several spots to stop along the way and easy access to the river. This can be a very slippery area in the winter so use caution when traversing over the wet rocks. In certain spots the river water is crystal clear but has a beautiful emerald hue to it due to the algae that lives in the river.

beautiful view dear friend

really beautiful .. amazing photography

Amazing shots.

Incredible photos, super colorful! With which camera do you capture these photos?

Yes, I pulled off in a few places along that road. It was rainy that day and wonderful. :)

I can't help but be reminded of St. Patrick's Day in Chicago when they pour dye into the river to make it green like this. It's cool that this happened naturally due to algae. Guess it's St. Paddy's day there all year round. ^_^

Wow, I love the shot of the river. The contrast of the second picture is perfect for me.
