Lower Tahquamenon Falls

in longexposurephotography •  7 years ago  (edited)

Here is a photo of the Lower Tahquamenon Falls, located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The reddish color comes from the cedars' tannins. The Upper and Lower Tahquamenon Falls are a popular attraction in Michigan especially in summer and fall. More photos in a future travel blog..

Tequamenon is one of my favorite state parks in Michigan. I love the lower to upper fall hike. I highly recommend it if you have not done it. After the hike make sure to check out the brewery. I look forward to more posts.

Thanks for the tip! You know, I visited the area twice and unfortunately both times my friends and I were in a rush, so we never got to hike more than one mile. But I would love to, for the nature and more photo options!

No problem I’m glad I can share some of my experiences. It’s also nice to get away from all the tourists.

Nice long exposure
