It's my mum's birthday today and several things came to my mind.She is my angel,my superhero,my goddess,etc.She catered for my younger sister and I ever since my Dad died when I was ten.My mum is my super hero,she doesn't fly,neither does she shoot laser beams from her eyes(at least not that I know of) however,she grows amazing children.Believe me,being a single mother is not exactly easy,it's twice the work,twice the stress,twice the tears and twice the endurance.The period when your children are going through hormonal change is one of the toughest part of any decent mother's life.You get to watch to watch your little adorable darlings start to evolve into something you are not certain of and you have to be by their side,mentoring them all the way.You get to learn about strengths you didn't know you have and deal with fears you didn't even know existed.Even till now,my mom is my cook,my maid,my nurse,my protector,etc.The strength of motherhood is greater than natural laws and if you can defy natural laws,I think you are a hero.My mum has been amazing and she is my superhero.

This is a very nice tribute to your mum. My mom - I'm from the states :) - inspires me so much, even when I haven't talked to her in a day or two, I think of all the work she did, raising seven kids. She also exercised - and still exercises - several times a week, which is great motivation when I'm worn out and don't want to get moving. Thank you for posting this; it reminded me how much I love my mom. Steem on!
