Such a GREAT article Quinn! 100% believe the same thing about children's potential. I lived in Nicaragua for a year and kids in diapers were chopping stuff with machetes, I was thinking most people would freak out about it. We create fearful children trying to protect them so much. I know parents try their best and want to keep their children safe but parents actually do a lot of harm by trying to keep them away from everything. Germs, dirt, tools, nature strangers etc etc. My children are actually super strong and competent because they were not sheltered but "put in the wild" per say.
U make posts about life in Nicaragua? I have lived in central and south america before.
