"Love you, for anyone who needs it. Help someone without asking for anything in return!" is the text that is found in the image below that circulated today on Facebook. A packet of chocolate left next to a public phone has sparked so controversial reactions among people.
The idea itself is more than commendable: a small gesture but a very large charity. Help unconditionally those near you: without even knowing them, without waiting for anything in return. It's a help that is not even directed, you do not know who it will be, but you hope that by your gesture you can at least create an example to follow. For, in the end, this changes every situation, state, preconceived idea: slowly.
Here are some of the reactions of those who commented on this picture, divided into two camps: those who see above all the beautiful gesture itself and pragmatists who consider the Romanians' lack of confidence in "free charity works":
"how many of those who appreciate this gesture would eat from chocolate? I would not eat anything, others might not eat because it is Romanian ..."
"Is there any such thing? Whatever chocolate is not the best choice, but the gesture is great!"
"I would not eat because I can afford to buy a chocolate, but would read poor people would like a chocolate in a gift?" "Very much my answer." Yes, it would be nice to have thousands of such gestures.
"and who is eating a chocolate on a public phone with a message that urges you to eat ..."
"It's a sad case, let's not bring out the negative things that are happening, there's already too much information like that, and focus on things and people who want to do something good and convince other people like the simple smile brought to you next to you is not a hard thing to do, it just needs to change our perspective to see things. :) "
How do you feel this gesture? What do you think would change if at least half of those who saw this image would have such a laudable initiative in their turn?
