There simply was an urgency to alert your busy mind.

“The 11:11 wake-up call of members of the Midwayers of Progress Contingent is rapidly becoming a worldwide phenomenon. Their genius trade-mark wake-up jolts are most unlikely to ever become outdated on this world as indeed more and more language groups are subjected to this handy pattern-recognition exercise.

“The fact that so many others claim to ‘own’ the 11:11 signal, and whatever meaning or value they ascribe to it, will not in the end analysis bother you in the slightest as it still tends to do now. In the long run 11:11 will be recognized as belonging to the Progress Division of the United Urantia Midwayers and their interplanetary cousins at work with them as their fully fledged colleagues.
