Resentment and hate makes no one happy.
Not you, nor the other person. Let me tell you what real happiness is: it is to live for other people's happiness. Do something without expecting anything... just to make the other person happy. just a little something. try it once. try to spread the word about "salam". you will no longer see any unrest or turmoil..
in your house, your school, your neighborhood, your country. you will no longer see fighths in the world. you will no longer see people killing each other.
i know people who can imagine great things we can't imagine. i know people who don't sleep.. while trying to make those dreams come true.
i know people who are willing to live unhappy lives.. just to help people live in peace.. to help keeping mothers and their children together.
i know people who would give up on their expectations, their dreams, their hopes, their loved ones, their spouses, their children, their mothers, their fathers, their countries, everything they have and could have just to keep a single drop of blood from being shed.
i know people who would die for the sake of a strand of your hair. i couldn't do all this. but they are my teachers. some in Bosnia, some in Afghanistan, some in Senegal. some in places you have never even heard of. the only thing that makes them happy is to keep "salam" safe. their feast is your happiness.
