I was introduced the other day to the idea of choosing my human. A friend responded to one of his sons with this phrase while the friend was spending quality time with his wife.
It is an idea of consciously choosing the person you will spend your life with. Not a casual encounter, but s commitment. When we make the decision of who we will spend our life with, we have to remember to put them first in situations.
I love this whole concept. Stacie D (@freedomtowrite) is my human. Long after our kids are grown and gone....we will still be holding hands enjoying life
