The art car parade in houston is gigantic with 400,000 attendees:)
I thought it was a great opportunity to raise awareness for a cause.
I hired some homeless youth to come dance around my car as we drove it through the parade.
I saw such a huge transformation with these kids.
Everyone wanted to take their pictures because I dressed them up in some fun funky costumes.
They felt famous and empowered for just having fun!
One kid even even told me that I pushed him to dance and he mentioned by doing that he overcame major stage freight!
These kids have been through hell and back but they are not holding on to anything and are open to anything.
Thats why this parade was the perfect fit because many would be too embarrassed to participate.
In my opinion kids like this are the future leaders of the world!
This was probably the greatest day of my life!
I hope to do more of empowering activities with homeless youth in the future:)
