We all fall in love and fail in love as well. We thought that the person who we are madly in love with is already the right one whom we can share our life and soul for the rest of our lives. We invest time, effort, love, care, not to mention the material things that sometimes symbolize our thoughtfulness.

Then..

We come to a point when we realize that the person whom we thought as our lifetime partner - the piece that completes us is not really the person we thought they could be.

We get hurt for deception, infidelity, manipulation, and all the lies that we first dismiss or not wanting to recognize in a relationship where we are in, because we want to save the love that we share with them. We fight to save the love we have but sometimes it damages us more than we can imagine.

It loses our sanity sparing time thinking what goes wrong.

It even pierces our heart bit by bit as happy memories linger us.

We cry a river for all those wonderful moments we have created with them.

It even makes us lonely when we remember the time we had shared laughter with them.

Even sadder when we miss their messages.

Much sadder when all we have are the lovely memories that are always in replay on our very mind.

And unfortunately...

We get angry.

We think how dumb we are for not realizing it earlier that it can't be...

We hate them for inflicting pain on us. We speak ill to them - may it be deliberate or not.

We start to think of taking revenge.

But suddenly...

We stop.

We think that our love is more than the hate we have for them.

Eventually...

We start to learn to let go of things that we can no longer control. We start to heal and understand our worth. We now give value to ourselves. We forgive ourselves and to the love that's lost. We are ready to start something new. We become mature and learn one important lesson in life and that is to remember that there are things in life that are not really meant for us.

We move on and see what is in store ahead. We become hopeful again, thinking that what is for us will surely never miss us no matter what happens. We begin to remind ourselves to never lose hope in love.
