MY FIRST VALENTINE

A few years ago in CMS jos plateau state
I met this beautiful girl, her name is RASHIDAT and she's a Muslim,
She was really beautiful, and she was envied by a lot of girls in my class.
I really really loved her but I lacked the courage to tell her, I tried a lot of times but usually became comfused and deviated into another topic.
Ok valentine was around the coner and a lot of students then we're talking about their Val's and their plans... But I was always left out as I only had my eye on RASHIDAT, although I hadn't made a move.
I then decided to buy her a teddy bear for Val to surprise her. I started saving for it but a few days to Val and my money was nowhere near the required amount so I had to improvise and I snuck out of school to buy her a watch (it was this type of leather watch that reigned then)
I bought it brought it back to school and took it to my hostel room, when my guy say it they were suprised and asked who the special girl was I. Told them it's a secret...
I hid the watch under my bed away from prying eyes. And made sure it was safe...
D-day finally arived, and "love was in the air"
After our morning devotion, bath , breakfast and training I dressed in my uniform and left for class.
I managed to catch her bag open and I sneaked the wrapped watched (which I wrote my name on) into her bag, and waited for the defining moment...
Break time came and I wasn't too suprised when I saw RASHIDAT approaching my desk.
She asked me if it was me who kept the gift in her bag, a confessed that it was me , and unlike before I didn't digress or get all confused, I asked her if she liked it, she said yes and I kinda asked her if she would join me in the canteen, she agreed. We ate buns and drank some zobo....
I later on told her my mind that I loved her and I would like to have a relationship with her. She said she'll think about it and reply me in the evening....
I said no P went to my hostel and in the evening during dinner I asked for her response, she said yes. I was overwhelmed with joy and hugged her...
Our relationship lasted till we graduated from CMS and although we have kinda gone our separate ways ( she got a scholarship to study in the UK, and I had admission into uniuyo) she'll forever hold a very special place in my life...
And I wouldn't mind joining the longest queue on Earth just to have a moment with her....💑💘
