Follow Your Heart…

Those moments in your life
where logic goes astray
there is
no rhyme or reason
but you listen anyway

a strange and distant feeling
filled with the unknown
shamelessly proud
of what
is still yet to come

fantastically perverse
dazzling the mind
repeating itself
with words never spoken
but unmistakably heard

spinning in your head
like a cyclone gone awry
unleashing thoughts confined
by the
physics of the day

courageous and contemptible
playful and benign
bursting at the seams
the definition
of sublime

aware of all its power
indulging in the danger
conforming
to no boundaries
taking its sweet time

living on the edges
outside the realm
of fear
standing at the precipice
looking into the abyss

lack of any answers
no time
for false regret
we leap into a world
built upon desire

aware that we may fall
break into mere pieces
we hold
onto the possible
the truth beyond it all

sometimes you take a chance
throw caution to the wind
watch the clouds depart
and just --
follow your heart.

              Unfortunately, my bloody heart took me astray, far away to unknown places.

              I should paint pink hearts on the sidewalks, just like my dearest friend Jude Papaloko does in Miami, where the sun shines everyday.

              I would follow my heart, if I could be sure and trust it enough.

              This heart beats much slower and too many mistakes happened.
