The Other Woman

Ep Two
"Congratulations to us. We finally get rid of assignments, early morning rise and the best part of it, a long break before getting into the real world of business with fun tagging along. Yipee!" I say grinning ear to ear.
"Hmmm." He grumbles looking ahead. I guess I said too much.
"Uhm... Can I... I have your contact, to say hello sometime?"

He looks at me for a few seconds before dropping a business card into my hand walking away at the same time.

Rude. I say to myself looking at his leaving form, frowning but I got his contact anyway and that brings a satisfying smile to my face.

I woke up with a banging head, hangover. I go to the kitchen to have an aspirin and a cup of tea. I fantasize about the day before when Mark comes to mind and I quickly grab my purse to get his business card.

Should have invited him to the after party, we could get to know each other and probably have some more fun, I hit myself in the head when the thought pops into my head.

I studied his business card and realise he's an artist and owns a studio. He isn't having any of all I listed to him yesterday. He's in business already. I decided to give him a surprise visit the next day. The thought of seeing him again makes me feel eager, I check the time and its just ten in the morning, I'll stay in and prepare for tomorrow.

I drive into town around mid-day looking out for the studio. I finally saw Prolific Arts and I take a good look before going in. The exterior decor beats my imagination although I had no expectation of what it'd look like. I go in and was lost in the world of arts, its like another city with its own people and lifestyle.

"You finally came." A voice said startling me.
