In our century (the century of speed, as it is called), people are too hasty and busy to understand this: patience. I would like to say that patience is a quality that is rarely found in today's society. We have all become anxious, always hasty and without patience, sometimes. We, the eldest, that is, the parents, say and ask our children to be patient. In fact, patience is a spiritual product. Being spiritual and yet not having patience is a contradiction. There is, in the experience of each of us, occasions in which we have lost our patience. What good would it be if they were just the occasions of the past. How much we gain today, if we were willing to learn from the lessons of our past the value of patience. The history of ancient Egyptian exodus tells us that the Israelites have lost their patience on the road. It is a bitter lesson, from which we, today, can learn the great dilemma.
You can be very determined to give up your Egypt, you can have a strong belief, so strong that you can step into the waters and the waters separate - just like the Red Sea - you can even cross the swirling Jordan or conquer Jericho: if you perceive your patience on this road without going to Caanan, at the boundaries of the promised country, how important are all these experiences of the past? Most of us recognize that we no longer have patience today. When answering the question with a different kind of answer than the one who deserves it, when you answer indifferently to love, and you remain passive in kindness, you respond with murmur in pain, it denotes that you have not understood the patience.

Good post. I like to excuse some by saying: Life has changed my friend and changed a lot. People used to have patience because they had all the time needed for patience. These days, in one day I am exposed to new events, knowledge, interaction with others, travel …. that is equivalent to what they used to have in a whole year. However if you train yourself to be patience these days, you would be like an ancient prophet.
