I love Maine Coons. Want one so badly. I wanted one since I was a kid, now that I have two... they're FREAKING AWESOME.
He actually doesn't shed more than my others, but when he does HE MEANS IT.
Check petfinder and your local kill shelters. You'd be amazed at what you find. I've seen tons of Maine coons and Norwegian forest cats.
