We both planted seeds in dreams,
Never to see that bloom,
Lying next to you with another in my mind,

Was it dishonest?

Was it a lie?

We were never meant to be,
Tainted from the start,

Searching for love in realms that cannot be,

The distance between us, the love, the hate as deep as the sea,

We sink to the bottom slowly waking up to reality.
