Love is finding a mate that makes life a little prettier, as a friend. The oldschool Boyfriend-Girlfriend paradigm is flawed. Everyone has intimate feelings for others whilst in relationships(Although some swear they dont, which is unhealthy) Failing to recognise this in yourself and significant other, will lead in not understanding these feelings and also denying your significant other these feelings, which means you are denying their growth, which defeats the purpose of two people teaming up in the first place.
