Mother's love

Mother and love are synonyms and every individual would agree with me on this. She wants the best for her family and child even if it means going against the family. My mother is no different. She is educated and smart but sometimes behaves dumb by believing in age old superstions because she doesn't want to have any doubt about the better future for her children or safety of the family.

She makes sure that we, her kids, put in hard work by constantly reminding us that it is just the hard work that would get us closer to our dreams, but then visits temples and feeds us on curds with sugar every time we have an important meeting. Earlier it was just me and my brother, but now she has got my husband in the league too. Does curds and sugar make the trick? Hell no, but we try not to disappoint her saying that the meeting was good and we are very positive about the outcome even if the meeting sucked. She feels very happy.

My mother believes that my son is a lucky baby and we have all the luck after he was born. So once my husband had a promotion test and my mother fed him with curds and sugar and told him that he will definitely get the promotion for he has his lucky child with him. My husband was confident that he would pass the test but he flunked. He told my mother disappointedly that he didn't get promotion and my mother was like ,"must be your bad luck is much more powerful than your son's good luck, we should consult an astrologer😂.

My mother motivates me when I have failed in life. She believes that everything happens for good and good would never disappoint us. I love my mother, she is special. I love my dad too ❤️
