I recently got a bit personal and announced that my family had FINALLY grown from 3 members to 4! In October we welcomed our little girl. She was just 4 weeks old at the time and perfect in every way. Our baby came to us through adoption. We started the process last year and after a wait that felt like FOREVER - we got that very special and memorable call from our social worker to say "COME FETCH YOUR BABY"!
Our little sweetheart has been with us for 4 weeks now and is nearly a whole two months old! She has settled in so well and is a very happy and healthy little girl. While we have all spent wonderfully happy moments together as a family since her arrival. My heart melts the most when I see my two children embracing each other with such pure love.

My son is 4 years old and he is such an attentive BIG brother. He dotes on his little sister to no end and calls her "MY baby".
When my hubby and I found out we couldn't have kids biologically, then the world of adoption opened up to us and we have never looked back since! You know they say that you have one plan for your life and God has another? Well! God's plan certainly was the BEST and I am ever so grateful for where my husband and I are today!
Speaking of husbands.
It's not every day that you find a man who is so willing and eager to adopt a child, never mind two (possibly 3!). As a wife and a mother, I am incredibly proud of my truly South African rainbow nation family!
I don't usually do the "personal post" thing - but there you have it! For my next few entries expect to find some more drab and dreary educational posts (ha ha)!

My little one loves to take a nap on my chest. Probably one of his favorite places to be!
Yours are adorable, too! The older one looks like he's happy to be a big brother.
