A fairy sat meditating among the green branches and leaves.
If there is no wind.
A bird flew over and stopped on the branch, looking at the rice field that was about to ripen in the distance.
The Genie took out a bunch of yellow rice and asked, "Do you love this rice?"
"Love."
"Why?"
"It drives my hunger away."
The bird pecked the rice and combed its lustrous feathers gently.
"Now do you love this rice?" The Genie took out a bunch of yellow rice.
The bird looked up at a distant Bay spring and answered, "Now I love that bay spring. I'm a little thirsty."
The Genie plucked a leaf and filled it with a spring.
After drinking the spring water, the bird was ready to fly away.
"Please answer me one more question," the elf pointed out and the bird stopped on it.
"Are you going to do anything more important? I have rice and spring water here."
"I'm going to the valley with hyacinths in it and see that hyacinth."
"Why? Can it drive away your hunger?
"No."
"It nourishes your thirst?"
"No."
"Then why did you go to see it?"
"I need it."
"Why do you need it?"
"I love it."
"Why do you love it?"
"I miss it day and night."
"Why do you miss it?"
"I love it."
After a moment's silence, the genie asked another question:
"Why do you only love that hyacinth? There are countless hyacinths in the valley."
"Because it's the only one."
"Why? Is it different from all other hyacinths?
"Yes."
"What's the difference?"
"Only it is the one I love."
Suddenly the genie laughed softly and the bird fluttered away.
