I am making some new rings for my wife and I. In September 2019 we will celebrate the completion of 25 years of marriage. The gold rings that we used no longer fit and neither of us felt moved to have them resized. When we reflect back on all our experiences we acknowledge that we have done a lot of work. The metal rings are more of a symbol of the colonial system and we worked hard to reject and UNGRIP from that system.
It is an honour and privilege to walk this path with you my love. Merry Christmas.orking on them and should have them done today as my Christmas gift to my wife. These rings are made from moose antler and are very hard, so they should hold out for a while. These rings best represent our connection with Mother Earth and our love for her and each other rather than the colonial system.
My dear wife, I love you dearly and I am honoured to have walked this journey with you despite all the challenges we were confronted with. I have learned the most by working through my relationship with you. We have gone through hell and back together. We have overcome so much and I look forward to our journey over the next 25 years as we walk the path of spiritual growth, stewardship, peace, freedom and love.
May these rings represent the endless love for each other as spirit is infinite. The rings will return to Mother Earth along with our vessels when we are done here. However, the memories, experiences and journey will return with us into the Spiritual Realm. That is the true essence of our life together here in this physical realm.

We took the long hard road. We were separated for 3 years as a result of my depression, suicide attempts, abusive behaviour, etc. Rather than going our separate ways, we both healed and learned what it takes to have a healthy relationship with self so that we can express that in our relationship with each other. Very rare for couples to do what we have done. But we learned a LOT through the process and I love her dearly. Thank you! <3
