My Entry for the Love it/ Shove it Challenge by @Snowpea

Permit me to begin my contribution to this challenge by first thanking @snowpea for thinking up this brilliant challenge. I have decided to participate because the challenge provides a rare opportunity for Steemians to get to know each other.

The challenge requires that one states 5 things one loves (love it) and 5 things one dislikes (shove it). Kindly find my list below:

My Five Love it list

1. Justice

Maybe because of my background in human rights activism, I love it when justice is not only done but seen to be done. I also love justice because it sends a strong message to both the people of good conscience and those with bad conscience. To the people of good conscience, Justice says keep doing good. To the people of bad conscience, Justice says your time will soon be up.

2. My Family

I love my family. Do you expect me to hate them? Just kidding. Man is born into a family, nurtured by the family, and buried by the family. Sometimes, when the tides of life become horrible, you realize that family is the only thing you've got.

3. Water

Water is life. Fela Kuti, a popular African musician, said, water no get enemy. This means water has no enemy. I drink a lot of water even when I don't feel thirsty. I rarely drink cold water, anyway.

4. Books

I love books. Books. I love books. Books give you a glimpse into the thoughts of others. Books provides an opportunity for me to drink from the wisdom of many men.

5. Swimming

I grew up in a riverine area and was exposed to swimming in my childhood years. My sisters and I would run barefooted to the river bank, undress ourselves, and crash into the pleasant embrace of the river. Although I don't swim professionally, I passionately love the sport.

My Five Shove it List

1. Injustice

I coldly hate injustice like pigs are hated in Mecca. I believe that injustice puts a knife on the thread which binds society together. To show you to what extent I deter injustice, I even run a contest here on Steemit tagged, Together Against Injustice Contest.

2. Weed

I don't hate smokers but I hate weed. Weed is wicked; it has destroyed the lives of a whole lot of people.

3. Pride

I dislike pride. I often wonder why one person would feel more important than the others. As soon as I notice that a person is proud, I look for a way to avoid them.

4. Facebook

Since I found Steemit, my love for Facebook has grown cold. Steemit has made me realized how Facebook has been gaming billions of people across the globe for years.

Pretenders

I dislike those who don't act their words, whose who pretend to be whom they are not. I like it when people look and act real.
