I manifested a manicure

What's up steemers. Allow me to introduce myself, my name's Marqs. Some friends call me slime. I'm a young 35 year old, with gray hair, hence the name Young OG (and yes its my natural hair). Grays been coming in since i was like 12 years of age. I'm Originally from Brooklyn NY, Bed-stuy, Marcy projects (made famous by Jay-z). Now residing in New Jersey.

I love life, the world, and the universe around me. Which growing up in the projects wasn't always the case for me. I had to learn to appreciate the good with the bad. Growing up in the hood there is nothing but negative energy around every corner and posted on every block. Options are limited. Drugs and violence is all we see, there for, its all i grew up knowing. My only skills were dealing, fighting, and stealing. Rapping or playing basketball were the only two tickets out. Lets say i'm not as good with a basketball as i am with a pen and a note pad.

Hence the title: I Manifested a Manicure. I've recently learned the secret of life is to believe in what you want, manifest it, and receive it. "I Manifested a Manicure" is the name of my debut album. Being able to get out of the hood i discovered theres an entire world of opportunities. Only jobs open to kids from the projects are primarly fast food chain resturants or local retail shops.

I currently work for a pool @ spa company out of Colts Neck, NJ (made famous by the sopranos). We service, construct, and rebuild pools all over New Jersey. One day, about a month ago, while looking at my hands my wife said "you need a manicure". (I work on construction side of the pool company and my hands always look like crap.)

Although i've been making music since my early teens. I finally decide to pursue my dream of being a hip-hop artist no longer than about a month ago. Actually i pursed it in my early 20s but had to cut the chase short because i was expecting a child and needed to provide.

It's never too late to chase your dreams and go after what you really want in life. Set your mind to it. Ask the universe for it. No matter how wild your dream is. How crazy it may seem to others. Only you control your own destiny. We are the creators of our lives. The moment you learn to master the laws of attraction is the moment the universe opens up for you and delivers anything and everything your heart desires.
