Wordplays? I am a sucker for it!

When I opened my inbox this morning, I was greeted with this ad by my food delivery peeps:

ESTAMOS DONANDO DONAS!

We DONATing Donas

Oh - How tempting!
I love a donut or two once in a while. But 12, or 24?

That's just sugar-crazy.
Even freezing them is going to have them scream:

I am here.... Eat me. Me too. Eaaaat me!

I love donuts, don't get me wrong. But I love to being able to fit in my 32 slimfit jeans again so much more. Not a difficult choice to make.

Twice a year, droppin' Dunkin' Donuts a couple of bux for a donut or two seems a good compomise.

You see, sugar is poison. Especially white one. Did I just hear someone yelling: RACIST? A potent one for that (Poison, not Racist.) Now, I am not a medical professional, but all we have to do is look at diabetic sufferers. It's a horrible disease, mostly caused by too much sugar and carb intakes. Yep, thoses beers count, too. I rarely have one.

That said. I love word plays. And this one here I really appreciate, learning Spanish and all...

Por este fin de semana, pide 12 donas y Krispy Cremme te DONA 12 donas más de las glaseadas originales. Esta es la prueba de que no te abanDONAmos.

... which loosely translates into:

This weekend, order 12 donuts and Krispy Creem donates 12 more originals. That's proof that we do not abanDONut you.

Loved it - and it made me smile.

I hope you did, too, even without the yummies...

I shall go and get my Nutri Bullet fired up instead, for a Mango, Apple, Grape, Kiwi breakkie. How about you?
