Since we started this low-carb diet on May 2017, me and my husband had reinvented how we prepare food. With the help of the community who follows the same diet, we discover alternative recipes for the food we love to eat just like Champorado (Chocolate Rice Porridge)
We call this Chia-mporado as it is made with chia seed as a replacement for sticky rice.
Ingredients:
Chia Seeds
Unsweetened Cocoa
Water
Stevia (to taste)
Coconut Milk (in can or natural)
Soak Chia seeds in an hour or two. Boil water with the Chia seeds. Once boiling, add cocoa powder, coconut milk and stevia.
This, just like the original version, is best served with fried ‘dilis’
