As we all know, Donald Trump has shown his support for Russia and its policies are very clear. The US intelligence community concluded that Russia interfered in the 2016 election and that he was accused of colluding with the Russians to win.
The US is currently engaged in a trade war with China, which has retaliated against our tariffs by devaluing their currency. This would lead to the de-dollarization of financial markets and global trade, which could have catastrophic effects on the global economy.
This is something I think everyone should know whether you are least interested in geopolitics or global economics.
