American ETFs have absorbed an additional 230,000 BTC since January 10, largely due to the transformation of the GBTC trust, which already held 620,000 BTC, into an ETF. Despite this, GBTC is losing its clients to BlackRock’s ETF, primarily driven by substantial management fee differences—seven times higher for GBTC.
