NFT and Metaverse Investment Firm plan to continue building its REVV motorsport ecosystem with a metaverse-first approach. Gaming and venture capital firm Animoka Brands has completed the acquisition of Eden Games, publisher of Gear.Club, the Test Drive series, and its landmark. Other popular racing games.
Eden Games is a France-based firm founded in 1998. The engine sold its 96% stake in the gaming and media company to Animokar on April 7 for .3 15.3 million.
Following the acquisition, Animoca plans to upgrade its REVV Motorsport (REVV) ecosystem by adopting a Metaverse first approach to new and existing gaming titles, as Animoca Chairman Yat Siu tweeted on 12 April.
It also hopes to launch new blockchain-based racing games. The Eden Games automotive industry has partnered with BMW, Bugatti, Porsche and others to help Animo create more powerful games for racing game fans.
