Lucid dreaming. It has fascinated me for quite some years now. Even though I've been successful in achieving lucidity in my dreams a few times in the past, I haven't been able to make it a regular thing. This is mainly because of my laziness when it comes to writing down my dreams in a dream journal. Perhaps keeping a blog on Steemit will keep me motivated enough to keep writing down my dreams. So, here goes!
Dream 1:
I don't recall much from this dream, only a shard. The brother of a good friend of mine had made an appointment with me to discuss his master thesis on blockchain. We were planning on how to get to our destination, because we would be meeting his brother (my friend) somewhere. We would be his car, but he asked me if I could drive, because he couldn't, or wouldn't, for some reason. I was very much willing to do so, since I love driving. He did ask me if I would be able to drive there, as the passages are narrow. I laughed and confirmed that I would be able to do so, since I've driven through even narrower passages with bigger cars in my days as a courier in Amsterdam. My memory of the dream ends here.
Dream 2:
I'm at some place where there is water. Two guys are also there, one older guy and one younger one, probably father and son. The son is after my blood, apparently and is trying to kill me. It turns out I'm Sanji, of the Straw Hat Pirates (One Piece). I go into the water to lure the son into a trap. The moment he attacks, I use Blue Walk to get away and he lands in a net and gets captured. At this point I return to the surface, where the father is. The environment now consists of a road and some houses in a rural area. I decide to go and sit on a high building and the father tells me that it's impossible to get that high. He challenges me to jump on the largest building in the area, which seems to be a hospital. I accept the challenge and use Geppou to get on top of the building. After sitting there for a while I hop back down, but my Geppou isn't working anymore and I fear that I might fall to my doom. I decide to let go and the floor was closer than I imagined. Not strange, since I'm suddenly in a bedroom and I just jumped off of a bunk bed. My memory of the dream ends here.
Well, those are the dreams I remember from last night. As I continue to write them down, more and more details will stick by me every night. That's how it works in my experience. Writing the dreams down signals your brain that you wish to remember them, so it helps you. Onwards to the next night! Let's see how long it takes for me to get a lucid dream again.
