When we allow ourselves to become in tune with our natural environment, we allow ourselves to feel the subtle changes of the earth and sometimes not so subtle changes. Celebrating the seasons, celebrating what nature has provided and gifted us with, is so important, for it is a celebration of ourselves. When we allow ourselves to live in a more natural way , we bring natural flow back into our lives. We become more sensitive and aware, we become more alive.
We are given such amazing opportunities all the time to find our way back to ourselves. We just have to listen closely, listen and open our hearts to all around us. To allow nature to communicate with us, to shake off our fears and allow ourselves to step into the light and warmth of each day. To be outside and connect with the earth, allow our feet to anchor us, to allow our energy to flow freely. To be creative, to explore, to dance, make music and sing.
I love to walk in nature and since I was a child I always liked to sing whilst I was walking, I like to sing to the trees, to the grass, I liked to sing to make my connection with the earth, to allow my vibration to join in with the earths. To sing songs of joy and wonder, to sing my thanks for what I have received.
Lughnasadh is traditionally seen as the time of the Harvest.
It is the time for giving thanks and for celebrating the abundance in our lives. It is the time to come together with your community and celebrate ourselves, our harvest from the land and our harvest from within ourselves, to celebrate the many riches we have.
It is the time to visit our friends, the time to explore and make new friends. It is the time of gatherings, of festivals. But yet so many of us may feel lonely and vulnerable, especially after that very powerful moon that has come into our lives. But we must be open with our feelings and not allow them to isolate us. Now is the time to express how we feel, because by doing so we encourage others to do the same. We allow ourselves to be in flow when we express how we feel. It then allows us to see what we wish to change and how we may do so.
These are the new seeds that we are forming within ourselves.
Now is the time to share our abundance with others. To create together, music, art and dance. To share ideas, to share the harvest of our achievements. It is the time to be generous and to give thanks. The more we give, the more that we receive, the more we allow all things to flow into our lives. We only have to look to nature to see that, that is exactly what is happening all around us. Nature provides with her bounty, with all the fruits, all the herbs that are in abundance right now. We are encouraged to take and enjoy and to give thanks by keeping those seeds, by replanting them so that they may grow again. To be guardians of this amazing planet. To take part in the cycle ,to keep the circle in motion.
Oh it is beautiful to celebrate life, the harvest, the earth and each other this way. Thank you for new ideas and sharing your appreciation. I celebrate new friendships today, my love for life and my child, and the heat that warms our heart as well.
Sending you all my love!
xx

I love Lughnasadh. My birthday is in August and I was always very experiencing home-like feeling during this time. Seeing the harvest and receiving the gifts of planted seeds is amazing, we receive so much now, from nature, people and ourselves. Much love and have a blessed Lughnasadh 💚
