Hello friends,
I suppose I should introduce myself before delving into the ins and outs of macro nutrition...I am 26 years old, I live by a few big mountains, I love beautiful things, good people, and good food. There aren't many things that irritate me in this world. I am easily excited and try to enjoy life to the fullest. However, there is one thing that I loathe, and unfortunately it is running rampant in today's society: socialistic and communistic ideologies. If you wish to live in a commune out in the middle of nowhere, sharing property and sucking each others tits, fine. You do you. BUT, if you try to take my property away from me, demean my worth as a human by attempting to make me equal to others, or for fucks sake, steal my life/time via taxation, then we got beef. If you live your life, and you let me live my life, then all in the world will be quite alright.
I apologize. Rant officially over.
On to why I am here today. Food is a passion of mine. Some might call it an achilles heel, i.e. I am overweight. For the last several weeks I have fully committed to something that I attempted to commit to in the past, counting my macro nutrition. I can happily report that I have not fallen off the wagon and have lost 7 lbs in the process. It's not been easy, sometimes my achilles heel comes back to haunt me and I can't resist the temptations of "shit" food. But day-to-day I have become better and will continue to get better until I reach my goal.
Currently I am in the learning stage of macro nutrition. In a previous life I counted my calories every day for over a year, so I am very aware of nutrition and the aspects that make up a "healthy" lifestyle. I am on this journey and I want to share it with whomever wants to learn about it. I intend to post meals that I come up with, struggles I have had to address, and successes that keep me going. Simultaneously I will be talking about the detriments of communistic ideas and how we might be able to progress as a civilization through anarcho-capitalism. If this sounds at all interesting, and not like a load of bullshit, feel free to follow me. I love input, and welcome discussion, so please feel free to ask me anything.
This is my journey, and I hope it helps you find your way.
