Fisheye fun!
I bought this Canon 8-15mm f4 L fisheye lens when I had too much money. Nah, joking. There wasn't enough fun in my life and I tried being more happy by buying fancy stuff.
Materialism ftw!
Needless to say, it didn't work out so now I'm a poor freelancer. But I'm more happy now, doing what I love every day and also having fun with the stuff I bought when I was still doing overwork in a 9 to 5 job.
To be honest, I'm not using this fancy lens very often, because for "normal" photography the distortion is just too much. But I love how close I can get to the objects of my desire, in this case a dandelion that seems to be hovering over its own little planet :-D
What do you think? Do you enjoy this look in photos? And what's your take on materialism?
I try to buy less, indeed I am even trying to give things away by now. It just so happens that when I give stuff, I also receive stuff. It's a never ending cycle of stuffing each other :-P
